The axes are added

divided
into parcelled acts
soon, very soon
the pot will crack
overfilled.

Don't let up
linear amoral
calculations
will pan out
fail-proof time limits
sticks to a recipe
until it's bound to work
As it has always.

The trophies are ready
The date tag remains empty.

Then
Without warning
The last straw is struck
My back will crack
And I will fall.

Except that axes
When crossed
And recrossed
Turn into stars.
